The youngest large ecosystem, and the fastest to turn over.

Press Spin. Every coin on the wheel has the same chance.

The Base ecosystem wheel picks one of twenty tokens issued on Base at random. It is the youngest ecosystem with a wheel here, and the one where the gap between consumer applications and speculation is narrowest.

    The youngest ecosystem here

Every other ecosystem wheel on this site covers a chain that had to build an audience the hard way. This one did not: it launched attached to a consumer application with tens of millions of existing users, which is a structural advantage that no amount of engineering elsewhere substitutes for.

Distribution is the scarcest resource in this industry. Chains with better technology and worse distribution have been comprehensively out-competed, repeatedly, and pretending otherwise is one of the more durable delusions in crypto. Starting with users is worth more than starting with a better design.

Fast turnover, and what it means for this wheel

Deploying here is cheap and the ecosystem is new, so its population changes faster than the older chains. This wheel's membership will move more often than the Ethereum or Bitcoin ones, because the ranking underneath it is genuinely less settled.

The daily refresh handles that automatically, and the date under the coin table tells you when the list was last checked. On a slower ecosystem that date is a formality; here it is doing real work, and a list a month old would already be noticeably wrong.

Consumer applications and speculation, close together

Because the users arrived before the applications did, this is the ecosystem where the distance between something a normal person might use and something purely speculative is shortest. Both are reachable from the same wallet by the same people in the same afternoon.

That produces genuine experimentation and a great deal of noise, sitting side by side under one ecosystem tag. The wheel does not distinguish between them, because the tag it inherits does not either. It picks one of twenty at random and says so.

    Questions

Which coins are on the base wheel?

All 20 of them are printed under the wheel: LINK, SHIB, DOT, MORPHO, VVV, ETHFI, CAKE, CRV, VIRTUAL, AERO, SPX, ZRO, VELVET, BONK, SYRUP, TRAC, SAND, 1INCH, AWE and FLUID. Stablecoins and wrapped tokens are left off, and you can replace the whole list in Custom mode.

What makes Base different from other scaling networks?

Distribution. It launched attached to a large consumer application rather than having to build an audience, which is a structural advantage no amount of engineering elsewhere substitutes for.

Why do so many of these tokens look new?

Because the ecosystem is new and cheap to deploy on, so the population turns over quickly. A wheel refreshed daily will change membership here more often than on the older ecosystems.
