All crypto wheels

24 wheels, all free, all the same underneath: a list of cryptocurrencies and a random pick with equal odds. They differ only in which list, and they fall into three kinds.

By market cap

Slices off the top of the ranking. The membership is a measurement, so these carry the date it was taken.

By theme

Grouped by what a token claims to do. The boundaries come from the data provider and are judgements, not measurements.

By ecosystem

Grouped by which chain a token settles on. A venue rather than a sector, so these cut across the themes above.

Why no wheel has a hundred segments

Every wheel caps at 30 entries, and most carry twenty. On a 320-pixel phone a twenty-segment slice is about 27 pixels across at the point where the ticker sits — enough to read a four-character symbol and not much more. Fifty would be illegible and a hundred would be a colour wheel with no information on it.

That is why there is no "top 50" or "top 100" wheel here despite both being things people search for. The top 100 list is text, which can show all of them, and is the honest way to serve that. If you want a longer wheel than any of these, Custom mode on any page takes up to 30 entries of your own.
